 The Series That Changed The Future Of Test Cricket, The series that changed the future of many players, the series which saw a completely different Indian Team It's The BORDER GAVASKAR TROPHY 2020-2021.





The Border Gavaskar Trophy Last Year Was an epic one it did many things it showed how a team fails, it showed how to do comeback, it showed how to win when your one of the biggest player is not playing and how to win with team with no experience so today we are going to recap the historic INDIA-AUSTRALIA TEST SERIES 2020-2021. It also became the ultimate test series of all time.


The Adelaide Dilemna-

It Was The First Test After ODI and T20 series. It was expecting to be one to watch out for after cricket returned after nearly 6 month break due to Covid. The match was evenly balanced after India took lead of 50 odd runs after batting first. Then came the second innings which saw the black day of Indian cricket Indian Team got all out for just 36 runs and no one was expecting it. With Virat Kohli returning home for his birth of his first child all experts were predicting series to be 4-0 but Indian Team had planned something else. 




The Melbourne Comeback:

After a loss in Adelaide Indian Team were looking for an epic comeback. Indian Team came up with new faces,new young faces. Australia got all out for just 190 odds runs which saw comeback from Indian Team and everyone appreciated it. Then came the ANJINKYA RAHANE MASTERCLASS HUNDRED, With Ravindra Jadeja's fighting 50 which saw Indian Team leading by 133 runs at the end of 1st innings. Then came the another bowling masterclass And India chased 70 runs to Win THE MELBOURNE TEST. 




The Sydney Defense-:

The New Year Test at Sydney started with Steven Smith amazing century which saw Australia scoring more than 300. It was the return of The Rohit Sharma The Test Opener he couldn't do much with India conceding 94 runs lead to Australia and it was looking really bad for India then Australian team again batted well and set target for 407 runs mammoth target for India. The last day started with the wicket of Rahane then came the determination of Pujara and counter attack of Risabh Pant. He scored crucial 97 runs and pujara playing with taking bowls into his body then they both lost their wicket which dim the chances of India drawing this game with nextly HANUMA VIHARI,RAVI ASHWIN and RAVINDRA JADEJA'S INJURY.  But the duo of Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari batted 45 overs with their injury and saved match for Team India.




The Brisbane Fortress:-

It was the ground where Australia didn't even lost a test match since 32 years and biggest problem for India was that India were not playing with some heroes of Sydney test match and bowling lineup having experience of combinly 4 matches. Australia started well with superb century of Marnus Labuschagne Australia scored 368 runs at gabba. India were 184/6 at one stage with still trailing more than 180 runs Then Came The Epic Partnership Between WASHINGTON SUNDAR AND SHARDUL THAKUR Which Saw comeback from Team India and after end of 1st innings they were leading by 33 runs. Australia scored 294 runs in second innings with siraj taking 5 wickets. India lost Rohit Sharma early while chasing 328 runs then came Shubham masterclass scoring 91 runs then India lost 2 wickets in row of Shubhman and Rahane and again the partnership between Risabh and Pujara Again began. Pujara was eating bowls on his body badly and India were heading towards win and then came the new bowl and India lost 2 wickets on row of Pujara and Mayank then game again got balanced. India were needing 49 of 44 balls with 5 wickets remainimg then came short but helpful inning from WASHINGTON SUNDAR which also was a big hand in India's win but then India lost 2 wickets and India needed 3 runs with 3 wickets left with Risabh batting on 85 then came the 4 from Risabh and some epic commentary from Vivek Razdhan "TOOTA HAI GABBA KA GHAMMAND"
which led India to an Epic series win and credit goes to full team.

 Lucknow Super Giants is the news team in the IPL, it was bought by rpsg Rajiv Goenka Group for a whopping 7000cr.
