 Preview : India Vs South Africa Series.

After a long 2 month IPL season it's now time for international cricket in India with team India playing a 5 match T20 series with South Africa which is going to start from 9th of June at Arun Jaitley Stadium Delhi. South Africa will be playing a T20i match Vs India after 3 years when they toured India in 2019. That series was drawn 1-1.

This series will be a good preparation for both Team for the upcoming t20 world cup later this year in Australia. South Africa have selected their best team but india have rested their few main players and have given chances to some new young faces who have done well recently in the IPL. Youngsters including Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan. Veterans Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Kuldeep Yadav are the players returning to team India after a tremendous IPL season. 

This is going to be a five match series which is going to play at 5 different grounds. Delhi, Cuttack, Vizag, Rajkot, Bengaluru will be hosting the 5 matches of this series. The series will start on 9th of June and will end on 17th June. 

Both Team will be looking to win the series with India on verge of getting world record of winning 13 consecutive T20 matches, they have now won 12 consecutive matches and after winning the first match they will hold the world record of winning most consecutive t20 matches but on the other hand South Africa will try their best to avoid India to reach the World record android to win series. 

Indian Team have some good young faces with senior players resting after an hectic IPL the likes of Umran Mallik, Arshdeep Singh who were really impressive in this season of IPL gave got their reward of performing tremendously good in this season. Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik are returning to team after long time after a good season in IPL.

South Africa on the other hand have selected their full strong squad for the series, Temba Bavuma lead South Africa have a really good squad consisting of Power hitting batting lineup and a fire bowling lineup. They have Quinton De Cock, Aiden Markram, Rassie Ven Der Dussen, David Miller in batting lineup and bowling lineup consisting of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje Who is returning from injury after 9 months, World top T20i spinner Tabraiz Shamsi. 



India and South Africa have faced of each other in 17 t20 games in which India has won 9, South Africa have won 6 and 2 games where abandoned.

Kl Rahul Will be opening with Ishan Kishan who didn't had a good IPL but still team will back him as a opener Shreyas will be batting at 3 who was man of series in last t20 series India played against Sri Lanka in February. Risabh pant, Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik will play in middle order. Axar Patel will play at no 7 as spin bowling all rounder Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umran Mallik will be the 3 pacers. One between Avesh and Umran will be selected in playing X1 but Umran with his extra pace is edge ahead of Avesh and Yuzvendra Chahal will play as wrist spinner.

Captain Bavuma will be opening with Quinton De cock who had scored tremendous innings of 140 runs recently in IPL, Tristan stubbs an exciting young batsman is likely to debut for his National side, Aiden Markram, Rassie Ven der Dussen and David Miller will be playing in the middle order, Dwaine Pretorious, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje will be pace bowling trio in the playing X1 of of South Africa and Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz shamsi will be the Two spinners in the team. 


Both the teams have a really good squad and both will be fighting hard to win the series and this is expected to be close series with both Team evenly balance there might rain in last few games of this series as monsoon will be entering India. 

Both India and South Africa have a all round team. South Africa have to beware of Hardik Pandya and Dinesh karthik who are returning to team India after doing extremely well in this season of IPL whereas India will have to make a good gameplan again IPL champion David Miller who scored nearly 500 runs and was finishing games for his franchise and Quinton De Cock who is in really good form.

 Lucknow Super Giants is the news team in the IPL, it was bought by rpsg Rajiv Goenka Group for a whopping 7000cr.
