Tata IPL 2022 : Gujarat Titans Preview

Gujarat Titans is the new team of IPL, it was bought by the CVC capital for more than 5000cr, they had drafted Hardik Pandya, Shubhman Gill and Rashid Khan before the Mega Auction, they had picked really good draft picks, After that they announced Hardik Pandya as their new Captain, He will be returning to international cricket after nearly 5 months, the last match that he played was against Namibia in T20 world cup that was played in Dubai where India failed to qualify for knock out, since then he is working on his fitness, now he is fully fit and have passed yo-yo test with flying colors, he is also bowling with speed of 135km/hr speed which is good sign for both the Gujarat Titans and the Indian Cricket Team.

They picked really good players in the auction, they had picked Mohammad Shami, Lockie Ferguson young Indian uncapped player Abhinav Sardarangani who is a really good talent, they also picked Jason Roy but because of the bio bubble fatigue he pulled out of the IPL, Rahmanullah Gurbaz has been named as replacement of Jason Roy, they also picked good Indian player like Yash Dayal, Vijay Shankar, Gurkirat Singh Man, Wriddhiman Saha, Sai kishore, Rahul Tewatia and they also picked T20 world cup winner Matthew Wade and David Miller The Finisher  


Haridk Pandya led Gujarat Titans will face Lucknow Super Giants on 28th March In Wankhede stadium, they will look to start their IPL campaign with a win, they will look to perform well and qualify for playoffs in their first season in the tournament, they really have a match winners in the team, with young Shubhman Gill which they had drafted before the auction is likely to open and all eyes will be on him that how he perform. It will be interesting to see who they will be playing as wicket keeper, Matthew Wade Or Wriddhiman Saha.

Their playing X1 look really strong but their batting looks slightly weak with Abhinav being inexperienced, Gill strike rate in T20 cricket, Rahmanullah Gurbaz is explosive but will be playing against quality bowler for first time, Hardik returning after many months. Their bowling lineup looks really strong with really good match winners, Yash Dayal will be one to watch out for in this tournament, he is a left arm fast bowler with really good pace, has done really good in domestic circuit and has been seen by the selection committee of Indian cricket team, he will look to carry his form from domestic circuit. They also have Lockie Ferguson and Mohammed Shami as other fabulous fast bowlers and with Rashid Khan as their spinner it can be nightmare for the opposition team to face this bowling lineup, they will hope Lockie Ferguson don't get injured as he is mostly injury prone. If somehow there batting fires then this team can do wonders in this tournament.

HardikPandya : he will be returning to professional cricket after nearly 5 months as written earlier, he was in talk because of his injury and his inability to bowl, which he needs to do because he is an all rounder ,he was not playing any cricket because he wanted to recover 100 percent from the injury. During this time he was also not retained by the Mumbai Indians which was really surprising, he was then drafted by new franchise Gujarat Titans for whopping 15cr. He was also later made the captain of IPL franchise, he will be very exciting about his new job will be wanted to give his 100 percent for the franchise. He will be watched by every Indian Team fans that will he bowl?  How will he bowl, and of course his batting will be also looked. He will look to perform in this tournament so that his team can win many matches and win tournament and will like to retained his place in Indian Team, he has passed the fitness test which was taken in Bangalore few days ago and he also bowling 135+ which is really good sign for Gujarat Titans and Indian Cricket team.

Rashid Khan : it can be said arguably the Rashid Khan is the best spinner of IPL since he did debut in 2017 for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Hyderabad, he is really impressive with bowler, only few batman have been able to hit him outrightly, he declined the offer of sunrisers Hyderabad of being retained because of the problem related to money, he was then drafted by the new franchise Gujarat Titans for 15cr, he will look to perform well for his new franchise, he will be also really important with his bat as his batting is really underseen. 


If Gujarat Titans batters are able to perform well they are one of the team to watch out for.

 Lucknow Super Giants is the news team in the IPL, it was bought by rpsg Rajiv Goenka Group for a whopping 7000cr. They had option to choose Any of the Lucknow or Ahmadabad based franchise, they chosed Lucknow as their company work has been based in Uttar Pradesh.
