TATA IPL 2022 Preview : Mumbai Indians

 Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in the history of indian premier league, they have won trophies 5 time In 2013,2015,2017,2019,2020 respectively. So today we are going to preview Mumbai Indians for IPL 2022.




They will be having a high class new team after the mega auction which was held in Bangalore on 12th and 13th February, they have got really good bunch of players. 

Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians was failed to reach to play offs in previous year of IPL they will look to comeback and will have an eye on trophy. They have a solid team with many game changer, they have really good batters but they lacks a good spinner a overseas fast bowler, they will lack death bowling except Jasprit Bumrah, so they will have to use him wisely, they also lack spinners in middle over that can control the game, they will also have to fit one Indian uncapped player in middle order and Tilak Verma is going to start in playing X1.

Mumbai as always have a really good squad but their bowling attack lacks despite of Jasprit Bumrah, they have got Jofra Archer but due to injury he will not be available this year, they also have weak spin attack. But they have powerful batting order consisting of Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Keiron Pollard Suryakumar Yadav, Tim David they can snatch game from opponent single handedly.

Rohit Sharma :  rohit is always a player to watch out for Mumbai Indians,  he has not able to perform consistently in IPL,  franchise will be hoping Rohit to perform really good this season. Rohit Sharma the captain has always proved himself but as a batsman he lacks consistency in the tournament. He. Must be looking for that purple cap that he has not won yet. He will also look for the IPL trophies and to make his team win matches.

Pollard :  he is always been X-Factor for the team, the Year where he has performed well Mumbai Indians have won the trophy, last season he was out of form and the team failed to reach the playoffs that shows the impact of Pollard in team. His power hitting ability has been superb but recently he is not in good form.

Ishan Kishan : ishan was the most expensive buy in Auction, he previously played with Mumbai Indians and they got him back. Ishan has improved his game a lot in recent times, he is backup opener of Team India and is very explosive. Last season was very ordinary by him he will look for a comeback. 





Dewald Brewis : he was the highest scorer of the U-19 world cup played in West Indies earlier this year, he is also known as Baby Ab as he is big fan of Mr. 360 and Brew
 has plays shot like him, he is unlikely to start in playing X1 but still will be one to watch out for.

Jasprit Bumrah - he is always a watch out for Mumbai Indians he is playing since many years but still he is consistent, his Yorkers and slower balls are one to watch out for. The biggest surprise is that he has not won orange cap till now he must be looking to take that this year and. I will not be surprised if he will win it. The problem with him is that he has no bowling skillful bowling partner this year as Mumbai have very weak bowling line up.

Tim David : he is just superb his hitting skills are fire. He was born in Singapore but has Australian citizenship and may play for Australia in upcoming World Cup because of his finishing skills he has played all League around the world and has done superbly in all the league he has played man match winning knock for the different teams he has played for he has won many match turning innings for his teams. Mumbai have got their second Pollard and remember Pollard is still in the team. I think he is going to stay and play for Mumbai Indians for next 10 years if he perform well. 

Mumbai once again will be favourite but what I think is they will not reach playoff again because of their bowling attack, yes they have powerful batting lineup but they lack in bowling.

 Lucknow Super Giants is the news team in the IPL, it was bought by rpsg Rajiv Goenka Group for a whopping 7000cr. They had option to choose Any of the Lucknow or Ahmadabad based franchise, they chosed Lucknow as their company work has been based in Uttar Pradesh.
