Tata IPL 2022 Preview : Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings is the second most successful in the history of IPL they have won 4 IPL trophies in year 2010,2011,2018,2021 respectively. So today we are going to preview Chennai Super Kings and will see their squad, schedule, possibly playing X1.


Earlier in the Mega Auction which was held in Bangalore on 12th and 13th February this year. They had retained Ravindra Jadeja, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Moen Ali. They have also got their some of their player back in auction. Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar, Mitchell Santner and Robin Uthapa.
They have got bunch of all rounder in their squad. They will also play the opener against Kolkata Knight Riders. 

Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings were champions last year and will look to defend their title. They have a really good batsman but their bowling attack lacks experience with deepak chahar likely miss few games because of injury. They also don't have great spin attack Ravindra Jadeja will play as As batting all rounder and Prashant Chopra is likely to start in playing X1 as a leg spinner.

Chennai Super Kings squad is really good this year, they have total of 7 all rounder in team which will give them stability in PLAYING X1. As I told earlier they don't have good bowling attack and more their spin attack needs experience with young Prashant Chopra likely to start as leg spinner.

Chennai Super Kings playing X1 really look superb they bat deep and have total of 8 bowling option which is really good in terms of balance, they will hope Moen Ali to do well like last season and will also expect some overs. With Deepak Chahar Injured Rajwardhan Hangargekar will directly come into X1 .

Mahendra Singh Dhoni : Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a really huge fan base, he will be playing cricket after nearly 5 months so all the fans of him will be desperate to see his sixes in the stands. He ended last IPL with bang with both as batsman and Captain. Likely this is going to be his last season of his cricketing Career. 




Ravindra Jadeja -: Ravindra Jadeja has been backbone of Chennai Super Kings from last few years as a all rounder he has improved his batting a lot and also gives team few overs with ball. Chennai is like likely to play him up the order at No. 5 or 6. He might be also be seen as Captain of chennai as this year is likely to be last year of Mahendra Singh Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings.

Moen Ali : moen Ali was retained by Chennai this year because of his tremendous performance in last season, he was vital at No 3 for Chennai and played important role with ball and bat to make Chennai Champions of last season. He will be playing vital role this year also and Chennai will expect him to score lot of runs with bat and lot of wickets with ball.

Ruturaj Gaikwad - the young sensation Ruturaj Gaikwad the here of Chennai Super Kings last year and the orange cap winner of IPL 2021 will be hoping to carry his form in this season also. A lot has changed since he debut for Chennai, he made his debut for India and have scored dozens of run in domestic circuit for Maharashtra. He will be having a new opening partner Devon Conway who is likely to start in playing X1. He will look to score runs and try to knock doors for The Indian Team which is going to Australia and the end of year for T20 World Cup.

Rajwardhan Hangargekar : the new young fast bowling sensation, he bowls with new Ball and also contribute with bat with long sixes. He was in talk when Indian U-19 team was playing world cup in West Indies earlier in January this year. With deepak chahar ruled out of initial stage of tournament Rajwardhan Hangargekar is likely to start away in Playing X1.



Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings will be starting favourite for the playoffs once again and will look to defend their title this year.

 Lucknow Super Giants is the news team in the IPL, it was bought by rpsg Rajiv Goenka Group for a whopping 7000cr. They had option to choose Any of the Lucknow or Ahmadabad based franchise, they chosed Lucknow as their company work has been based in Uttar Pradesh.
